Event offers operational and administrative positions for immediate hiring
The National Employment System (Sine) of Paranaguá, through the Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Innovation, is hosting a job fair next Wednesday, May 6, focused exclusively on filling vacancies at TCP. The company, which manages the Paranaguá Container Terminal, is currently the largest employer on the coast of Paraná, with over 1,600 employees, and is seeking new talent to join its operational and administrative teams.
The event will take place at the Sine headquarters from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is part of the municipal agency’s strategy to connect the local workforce with the significant opportunities generated by the port sector. Unlike typical multi-sector job fairs, this job fair will feature TCP as the sole employer, streamlining the process for those seeking to join the Terminal. In total, 15 positions are available for the roles of Administrative Assistant (exclusively for people with disabilities), Mechanic, Electrician, Reefer Assistant, Warehouse Assistant, and Terminal Truck Operator (Terminal Tractor).
For Felipe de França, TCP’s Human Resources Manager, the partnership is essential for the Terminal to continue growing and creating jobs. “TCP is undergoing a phase of expansion, and we are seeking new employees who want to develop their careers in a dynamic, rapidly growing company that offers real opportunities for career growth,” he emphasizes.
Inclusion and Selection
One of the highlights of the job fair organized by Sine is the five positions reserved exclusively for people with disabilities (PWDs) for the role of Administrative Assistant. The initiative reinforces the company’s vision of inclusion and diversity in the workplace. “The positions reserved exclusively for PWDs are part of our culture of inclusion, and we want to ensure that the port environment becomes increasingly accessible and full of opportunities for everyone,” says França.
The event’s workflow was designed for efficiency. Candidates should report to the Sine reception desk, where the Municipal Secretariat team will handle registration, screen resumes, and review the mandatory prerequisites for each position. Those selected in this first stage will be immediately referred for interviews with the TCP HR team, who will be on-site. Hiring is expected to be finalized within a month.
