Last Tuesday (22), the National Employment System (Sine) in Paranaguá held its second job fair featuring openings at TCP, the company that manages the Paranaguá Container Terminal. In total, 218 people applied for positions as warehouse laborers, multifunctional terminal tractor (truck) operators, reefer assistants, and administrative assistants.

“In May, TCP participated for the first time this year in a Sine Paranaguá job fair, and the event was a success, resulting in 26 new hires. In this second edition, the number of applicants was higher, which demonstrates the candidates’ interest in joining the Terminal’s team—which is currently the largest private employer on the Paraná coast and the fastest-growing in southern Brazil,” noted Felipe de França, TCP’s Human Resources Manager.

Currently, TCP has a workforce of more than 1,600 employees and is the largest port terminal in southern Brazil, with projected cargo volume equivalent to 1.663 million 20-foot containers (TEU) by 2025.

administrative assistant. The initiative reinforces the company’s vision of inclusion and diversity in the workplace. “The positions reserved exclusively for PWDs are part of our culture of inclusion, and we want to ensure that the port environment is increasingly accessible and full of opportunities for everyone,” says França.

Candidates were referred for interviews with the TCP HR team that was on site. The next stages are expected to take place in the coming weeks. Successful candidates will be contacted via WhatsApp, and hiring is scheduled to take place throughout the month of November.
