TCP

Representatives from the commercial area and other sectors will be present at the Fair to answer questions and introduce the terminal to visitors

On October 25th and 26th, TCP, the company that manages the Paranaguá Container Terminal, will take part in the 11th Professions Fair organized by the ISULPAR Education Group. The event will be held in the morning, afternoon and evening at the Instituto Superior do Litoral do Paraná, in Paranaguá.

The aim of the Careers Fair is to present some of the courses available at the Faculty, including the “Port Management” course. At every edition of the Fair, TCP has been at the course stand, answering students’ questions and presenting the Terminal’s Young Apprentice and Higher Level Internship programs.

According to Washington Bohnn, TCP’s Human Resources Manager, participation in events like this, which introduce TCP to the community, is essential to showcase the company and the Terminal’s career opportunities. He says that “TCP is the ideal place for those who want to advance and build a career in the fields of foreign trade and port logistics. We are currently the largest employer on the coast of Paraná and, at the Careers Fair, we establish direct contact with students, presenting the possibilities offered by the terminal, especially for those who are taking the first steps in their careers. Our aim is to stimulate the growth of young people in the company and boost the great professionals in the market”.

TCP Internship Program

TCP is the company that employs the most people on the coast of Paraná and, for the last 10 years, has had an Internship Program committed to the trainee’s learning. Graduate trainees have the opportunity to develop their skills and contribute to improving the company’s processes by carrying out their Internship Projects.

In addition, the Internship Program also encourages leadership development: in 2022, on average, 78% of interns were hired. Throughout TCP’s history, 15 interns have reached supervisory positions, 23 have become coordinators, 5 have reached management positions and 1 has become a superintendent.

TCP’s Internship Program opens vacancies in various areas, in the cities of Curitiba and Paranaguá, every year. Applications to become a TCP intern should be made under the “Careers” tab.
